40th Annual Oyster Crush

Virginia Beach’s best party is back, and local charities are again the beneficiaries! Welcome to the 40th annual Oyster Crush Fundraiser, hosted by the Cape Henry Rotary Foundation, will occur on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1 pm-6 pm at Ballyhoos Restaurant in Virginia Beach.

Since 2015, the event has raised over $340,000 for local charities, scholarships, and youth programs in the Hampton Roads area. All-you-can-eat oysters, raw or roasted over a wood fire, steamed clams, and a full meal including BBQ, fried chicken, and drinks will be served. You can dance all day to the music from local bands and DJs.

The Cape Henry Rotary Club was founded in 1984 and utilizes the Oyster Crush party to bring awareness and financial support to the club and the charities it supports. TOGETHER, we see a world where PEOPLE unite and take action to CREATE lasting CHANGE across the globe in our communities and ourselves.

We serve others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Our values are an increasingly important component in strategic planning because they drive the intent and direction of the organization’s leadership.

These core values are:

  • Fellowship and global understanding. We build lifelong relationships.
  • Ethics and integrity. We honor our commitments.
  • Diversity. We connect diverse perspectives.
